Beer Battered Hake Sandwich with Coleslaw

Main Ingredients:
- 6 ea Cape Hake Beer Battered Portion
- 6 ea Brioche Bun
Coleslaw
- 6 oz Green Cabbage, julienne
- 3 oz Red Cabbage, julienne
- 1 ea Carrots, julienne
- 2 oz Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp Whole Grain Mustard
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 oz Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp Celery Seed
- 1 tsp Parsley chopped
- Salt And Pepper to taste
Traditional Tartar Sauce
- 6 oz Mayo
- 2 tbsp Relish
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 2 tsp Lemon, juice
- Cook Beer Battered Hake according to package instructions.
- Preparing Coleslaw: In a small bowl whisk together vinegar, mustard, sugar, and olive oil and set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together cabbages, carrot, parsley and celery seeds. Next, pour a small amount of the dressing onto the cabbage mixture and mix until combined and until the desired amount of dressing is achieved. Season with salt and pepper and chill in refrigerator until ready to assemble sandwich.
- Tartar Sauce: In a small bowl whisk together all ingredients. Reserve under refrigeration until ready to use.
- Assemble: Lightly toast the brioche bun. Spread a thin layer of tartar sauce on the bottom bun and add one portion of Hake. Layer coleslaw on top and add remaining brioche bun. Serve with your favorite side and enjoy!
